“Pinch it” is a fine motor activity using small 2x2 pictures that need to be velcroed to clothespins then attach to a larger picture form. Pinch it can be as simple as placing a clothespin on the main form or add multiple steps to the task for more complexity. The activity encourages multiple sensory input including but not limited to hand-eye coordination, pinch grasp, motor planning, bilateral coordination skills, sequencing skills with multiple steps possible, visual perception, and many more. This activity has many variants both kids and adults will love. The “Pinch it” activity can be purchased in single or multiple units. Each basic unit will include one “Pinch it” themed picture form and standing base, 10 standard clothespins, and one full set of 20, 2” pictures matching the theme.
“Pinch it” is also available in its full package (recommended), featuring an increased number of clothespins, sequencing and color choices such as 20 colorful clothespins, as well as a fun large single die with colors and numbers, and a colored dice board with the corresponding colors to each of the 5 colors on the pictures that can be used as an additional step for sequencing. You will also get handy functional containers used to store the clothespins and the pictures, dice, and game board pieces. These containers have been tested by students and work well for goals focusing on fastener opening as well.
